FAQ

Fair questions, straight answers.

How much does Spyne cost?

Basic is ₹399 a month for up to 30 people and Professional is ₹899 a month for up to 100. That is for the whole company rather than per seat, and every feature is in both plans.

Is there a free trial?

Thirty days, with no card required. One click fills the trial with a realistic sample company — three months of attendance, payroll, invoices and projects — so you can see every screen with data in it before entering any of your own.

Is it priced per user?

No. The price covers the whole company; team size only decides which of the two plans you are on, and it is guidance rather than a hard cap.

Do you hold features back for the higher plan?

No. The feature list is identical in both plans. The only difference is the team size each is priced for.

Can we get our data out?

Every list in the product exports to CSV at any time, covering the whole filtered set. There is no export fee and nothing is held back if you leave.

What happens if we go over the team size?

Nothing breaks. The numbers are guidance for choosing, not a licence check — Spyne will not stop you inviting someone or lock the product. If you settle well above the size you are paying for, we will email and ask you to move up.

Monthly or yearly — what is the difference?

Same plan either way. Paying for the year up front saves about 16% — roughly two months free — on both plans. You can start monthly and switch to yearly whenever you like.

How does onboarding work?

Send us a message and we will invite your team by email, load your holiday calendar and salary structures, and help you publish your first daily plan — most teams are live the same day. We can also help migrate existing attendance and leave data.

Can I customise leave policies, deductions or payslip format?

Yes. Leave policies, attendance rules, deduction structures (EPF, ESI, PT slabs, loans) and payslip branding can all be tailored to your organisation — tell us what you need in the message above.

Is our data safe?

Access is granted per action rather than per role name, sensitive changes require a reason and keep an audit trail, identifiers are encrypted at rest, and you can export everything as CSV at any time. The security page sets out what we do and — as importantly — what we are not yet claiming.

More detail: how we hold your data, the full feature list, and why one system beats six.
